Recently we have been talking to suppliers for an ottoman bed.
What is an ottoman bed?
Many people may think this sounds like a bed from days gone by…well, there is some truth in that thinking.
Also, the word ottoman is used as a piece of furniture that is similar to a trunk that you might perhaps keep linen in, and therefore people often associate the word ottoman bed with something old fashioned.
However, an ottoman bed has now developed into a modern, practical bed with storage underneath.
The whole mattress lifts up on specially designed and tested springs allowing you to utilise the entire base area of the ottoman bed for storage.
It’s fair to say that an ottoman bed has been around for quite a while now, but there has always been a concern with the quality of the lifting mechanism. Remember, the entire mattress and part of the base section lifts up, so it needs to be very good quality.
