“Sale Sale Sale, Sale Ends Monday or Sale prices must end soon!!”
All can be clouding ways to try to get you to part with your money, some retailers feel its ok to muddy the direct price, we believe you should be able to get the bed you want at a great value price through our entire range.
Dreams beds have been reported on BBC watchdog, the accusation made was that the sales they were advertising were false. We obviously cannot make any comment about the accusations made about Dreams Beds or comment on if they were indeed false advertising but it was an interesting programme nonetheless. Unlike the accusations put to Dreams beds we do not advertise that any sale ends on a particular day of the week then increase the price for a day only to reduce it the following day. Often beds retailers says “sale ends Monday” only for the new sale to start on the Tuesday or the Wednesday.
We do get many happy customers as a result of what they call poor service from Dreams beds though, they often feel let down after failed delivery or having to wait weeks and sometimes months for items to come into stock before they can be delivered. We welcome those customers with an understanding nod, a bit of good advice and the offer to try our beds and service. We are glad those customers found us and were happy with the service and the bed or mattress we delivered for them.
We have some fantastic clearance deals to make way for new stock, divan bases, frames, brass bedsteads and mattresses in different styles and types to suit all, and when we say to clear they are to clear. Once sold they are gone for good so dont miss out on a range of quality bargains.
On the subject of dreams……..
It’s healthy for us to get several hours of decent sleep, we dream, we rest, we recharge. We can spend on average half our life sleeping or at rest and a decent mattress really does aid restful sleep. You can awake refreshed and alert ready to take on the day ahead. One sleep cycle comprises of 5 stages and lasts for about 90-120 minutes and then repeats through the time your asleep.
Dreams have always been a really interesting talking point as often they are very personal and interpreted in many different ways.
Dream interpretations date back through the ages. From as early as 3000 to 4000 B.C. they were documented on clay tablets and for as long as we have been able to talk about our dreams, we have been fascinated with them and have strived to understand them. The people, even back then, took time and looked to their dreams for solutions on what to do or what course to take in their life. They believed dreams forewarned and predicted the future. Tracing back to these ancient cultures, people had always had an inclination to interpret dreams. The Bible alone has over seven hundred references to dreams.
During the Middle Ages, dreams were seen as evil and its images were temptations from the devil. It was believed that in the vulnerable sleep state, the devil filled the mind with poisonous thoughts attempting to mislead us down the wrong life path. In the early 19th century, dreams were often dismissed, believed to be caused from anxiety, a household noise or even indigestion so believed there was really no meaning to it at all. Later on in the 19th century, Sigmund Freud revived the importance of dreams and its significance and need for interpretation. He revolutionised the study of dreams.
Symbols are the language of dreams. A symbol can invoke a feeling or an idea and often has a much more profound and deeper meaning that any one word can convey.
