We sell a wide range of spare bed parts.  In particular, 5cm wide wood slats and 6cm wide wood bed slats.

With the high number of wood, metal and fabric upholstered bed frames sold in recent years there has been a demand from us for spare parts, especially these curved wood bed slats when the inevitable child jumps on the bed!

They are called curved, beech laminate slats. Sometimes mistakenly called, slatts, slates, lats.

If you have a broken slat then the chances are it is made from Birch, which is quite white and dry to the touch. They are good enough quality but over time and with use they can be come weak.

Our replacement bed slats are made from Beech, which is significantly stronger than birch. The are made with 8 layers of laminate beech wood, bonded and then varnished to provide a strong and smooth finish. We cut them all to size, so you can have the slat made as long as 91cm, and as short as you like. We keep them in stock, in both 5cm or 6cm wide.  If you need any help, feel free to call one of us on 01793 388605.

We also sell the black plastic end and middle caps that hold the slats in place. Again, we keep them in 5cm or 6cm wide.
