Sprung edge bed base only.
What is a Sprung edge base?
Commonly known as Sprung top, or sprung edge bases.  These bed bases have a layer of 3" springs across the entire top surface of the divan bed base.

Sprung edge/Spring top bed bases give much more support for the mattress compared to a standard, platform top (hard top) bed base.
Also, it will make the mattress feel softer, and will certainly help your mattress to last longer.

You usually find these sprung edge/sprung top bases on much higher quality beds, in particular pocket spring mattresses.
So, there is no need to replace the entire bed, you can keep your existing mattress and simply replace the base only and replace it with one of our sprung edge/sprung top bed bases.
