Sofa-bed mattresses are not selected in the same way as ordinary bed mattresses. The opened mechanism determines the required size, depth and flexibility.
Measurements to send us
Measure the existing mattress when it is laid flat:
- Width at the widest point.
- Full length from end to end.
- Mattress depth without compressing it.
- Whether the mechanism folds in two or three sections.
A photograph of the open and partly folded mechanism can also help identify the type. Never choose a deeper mattress without checking the space inside the closed sofa; too much depth may prevent the mechanism from folding correctly.
